Well over the past week there has been some concerns about #steemsilvergold. The one thing that should not have happened has happened, Activity. Maybe it's from the price of steem getting hammered or maybe it's from the issues within the group.
First let me start with this, there should be nothing that slows down or gets in the way of your steemit journey. The only way to grow is to stay active. Now issues are going to come up from time to time, it's called life. We are a group of over 1500 members, there is now way that all of us will every agree completly but again you can not let this get in your way. There will be walls that come up during your journey on steemit, you have to figure out whether you are gonna break through them or let them stop you.
Now there is a town hall meeting scheduled for Friday night, March 16th at 8pm Eastern standard time. If you have some concerns then this will be the place you will want to voice your concerns. I will also ask that you only come with question or concerns about the current situation. I would also hope that this does not turn I to an attack on members. The only way we can remain a respected community is by conducting ourselves respectfully.
I want to stress to each member that Friday is your time to speak, but I also want to stress that these issues need to be put to bed Friday as well.
I would also like to give my thanks to @phelimint for your endless work that you have done for the group. You have done an amazing job at growing out little girl I to a full blown woman.
Also was to give a shout out to @guiltyparties, he is our SSG witness and has done way to much for us that has gone unnoticed. This guy is a 100% helper...
Again it's Friday the 16th of march at 8pm est, on the steemsilvergold discord channel. Please be thinking and have your concerns ready to talk about And most of all be respectful of the group and people's time.

I do suspect the activity drop is from the steem prices, or at least that seams to be the general consensus all around steemit.

No personal attacks and final decisions is what I expect will happen in the meeting. I am sure that the community is composed of grown-ups that will set their arguments and then decide everything targeting the improvement of steemsilvergold.
I was noticing the slow down too. It will work itself out I'm sure. I on the other hand can't stop wont stop 😀

You are right @raybrockman. I came here about a month ago from youtube and facebook community. I enjoy collecting and sharing my journey with like minded people. With all the stuff going on with youtube and other platforms, i decided put all my effort into starting a steemit account instead of a youtube channel. Until last week this place was my coin sanctuary but with all the drama and craziness my motivation is down. I'm still trying to post good content daily. It's hard enough for new steemers to learn the platform and meet new people but some of us new guy's and gal's are looked down upon because of the problems occurring in the community. Not all members are doing it. I do appreciate those #steemsilvergold members who take the time with us minnows. I did join the discord last night.

It does seem like there has been a slow down of activity here. And the decrease in price of cryptos and Steem have had something to do with it. I think the air will get cleared tomorrow night
I don't really have concerns...you get out what you put in. I don't expect something for nothing...life isn't like that.
things are a bit slumpy ... but we'll keep pushing thru ... everyone is waiting for the other shoe to drop with the economy, but the government keeps digging for more fiat and propping up the oligarchs and the markets
