Will there be a “HiveWorld” for Hive.io?
I'm still processing the new reality that is coming to light these days. Not much money/motivation left to be able to continue something that failed with the same people again.
I won't leave Steem, that for sure. If hive needs a HiveWorld (would prefer a different name) and I would earn enough for all the work and new servers/domains, I might join, but at the moment I stay cautious.
Two things must be done on hive at least:

I don't think that this is a good action to counteract what you intend to do. Because then the "kings" will just use other accounts with close to 0 stake as witness accounts. That wasn't even unusual for Steem (I can remember @utopian.witness or @busy.witness off my head - even though those were for another reason)
Limiting the witness votes is a must though in my opinion.
I hope you can find a way to move over, Steemworld has been an incredible tool for me over the last couple of years.

Well, he tried that before and most of the Witnesses made sure his proposal was rejected. So, why bother going through it all again?
Lots of changes since then, but, yeah, if we keep the same overlords as before, nothing changes.

the recovery account changing option seems to be very important for many people at this point. Can you test whether its working as intended when you have sometime ? I tried and somehow it didn't work for me.

Account recovery only works if someone has gone in and changed your account keys; it is not designed in case you have lost your keys. This may not be your case but just saying :-)
I was trying to change the recovery account from
steemto something else. Too lazy to try cli_wallet so was looking at steemworld :)Did you use the owner key? I will try it later today, but I guess it's related to something other than the SteemWorld code.

I guess you changed your recovery account successfully, but are not aware of the 30 day waiting period. SteemWorld shows an outgoing account operation
change_recovery_account, but it cannot show the new account as recovery account, because it takes 30 days until the blockchain switches to the new one (for security reasons).I will add an extra hint to inform the user about the waiting period ;)

I found a solution to display a pending recovery account change.
This will be included in the next SteemWorld update:

Yes, I'm running my own node, but I don't use the follow_api plugin.
I see. Thinking it's either a glitch w @anyx's node or something off with Beem.
To sum it up, using get_following w start account a limit of 1 op which would typically return the op w the start account.
In this instance there are two ops in the same block but different account being followed by @badge-127001. For some reason the op returned ends up being for the other account rather than the start account.
Very puzzling and going to require a less than ideal fix unless I can find another follower api node.
Another question, are you aware of anybody that has been able to run a seed node on Ubuntu 19? I attempting to build from source and got so far but ended up erroring w some of the RocksDB stuff. Something about a feature being deprecated iirc

Claiming rewards worked all the time and was not affected by this upgrade.
Can you further elaborate?
I meant the claiming process is so slow and can take upto 2-3 hours before the balance is shown on the Steem-Engine
