Congratulations on breaking free to do what you want to do with the rest of your life. I stepped out of my comfort zone when I was 47 years old. It was the best decision of my life. Doing a job that you really don't like and have little or no prospect of achieving anything more is not a bright prospect. Go for it and enjoy the journey!
