The Try Guys
I was recently introduced to "The Try Guys" by my daughter who watch's A LOT of YouTube. The first video I saw of them was about them them dressing up as drag queens. It was amazing to watch these straight men that are married or single take time out of their lives to understand what it's like to be someone else. There are many many videos that they have done from motherhood (being pregnant) to what is was like to be in the Olympics in ancient Greece. However, the one that touched my heart the most and made me feel like there are people in this world that are not just trying to judge you but instead understand you, was the one where they tried to learn about women and what we go through day to day with body image. Women every day are made to feel like we are not beautiful unless we are the way that media tells us to be. You will see in this video just how profound it was for them as MEN to be pressured into being something they weren't and how insecure it made each one of them feel. I would love for everyone to try and see or understand each other, although I know I can not change anyone, this gives me the chance to share with you people out there that are trying to change the world.
