You may have heard or read different articles about robot doing amazing things yet still doubt the possibility of robot taking control and reshaping the modus operandi of various human activities and processes. I would encourage a rethink and readiness to give a warm embrace to this human mimicking creations.
Until this moment, how could I ever fathom or wrap my head around the possibility of a woman, a beautiful being wonderfully made, being replaced by a mere robot designed and made from scrap materials?

Robots went head-to-head with strippers at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas and the spectacle of these robots was nothing short of an amazing moment for onlookers. The fascinating display by these humanoid robots as they danced and gyrate around poles in the club would make most spectators mistake them for real women if they had been well covered with artificial skin and hair.
Strippers and club dancers have always enjoyed an unrivalled display of their strip dancing skills at public adult entertainment venue for so long. Never for once would the strippers at the Sapphire Gentleman's Club in Las Vegas ever imagined themselves competing fiercely against humanoid robots trying to beguile the audience whom they had always won their attention effortlessly with their strip dancing skills.
The amazing display by these pole dancing robots, built by Brit artist Giles Walker, further raised the fear of an increase in job automation in the future. Despite the fact that these pole dancing robot got mixed reviews from spectators, it does not change the fact that these robots can further compete better against their human counterpart if their creator inject more fluid of sophistication into them.
I would agree that this robots may not necessarily replace the charming strippers you often see at strip clubs right now but in the near future, they might most likely be the choice of most club managers and my reason for this isn't farfetched. Firstly, it is common knowledge that technology improves on a daily basis and inventors are always working on making their invention better. Secondly, if in the near future, these robots are well designed with beautiful artificial skin as seen on some sex dolls and upgraded in terms of sophistication, a strip club owner or manager might not mind laying off some of its club's strip dancers who can be replaced with sexy pole dancing robots all for a one time purchase cost that would save the club recurring wages.
Job automation by robot is on the rise and it would keep surging as technology keeps manning the driver's seat to almost every human activities and processes.

I could not help but burst into laughter on reading your comment. Very very very TRUE! Before I respond to this, permit me to state that the article was meant to re-echo the degree of job disruption human stand to face with the constant rise and adoption of robots and machine in the workplace. So, as much as my article seems a bit tilted towards sensual or sexual angle, the real perspective is not for that rather it is within the context of work. Robots are being employed to do jobs that used to be comfortably manned by human and that will not experience a decline because AI is on the rise and robots and machine intelligence is being improved on a daily basis. Coming back to your point, I totally agree a robot can't give birth neither can it give the optimum sexual satisfaction compared to a woman yet if you have been following technological trends, you should have stumbled on the increasing number of robot companies producing and churning out robots designed for give sexual pleasure. The question of getting optimum sexual pleasure is simply relative. I personally detest the thought of it and can't imagine human having sex with a "sex doll" as they are popularly called but the honest truth is that if people ain't buying these sex doll companies would be out of business. So, it means some men have found sex dolls to be their best shot at deriving sexual pleasure.
