আমাদের একটা কথা মাথায় রাখা উচিত। যেটা হলো যুগে যুগে যতই আন্দোলন হয়েছে না কেন সবগুলোতেই ছাত্ররাই নেতৃত্ব দিয়েছে। আমরা যদি 1952এর দিকে তাকায় সেখানে রফিক, শফিক, জব্বার সকলেই ছিল ছাত্র। তাদের নেতৃত্বে ভাষা আন্দোলন হয়েছিল্ আমরা যদি 1969 এর দিকে তাকায় সেখানে গণঅভ্যুত্থান ছাত্রদের নেতৃত্বে হয়েছিল।
আমরা যদি 1971 দিকে তাকায় সেখানে স্বাধীনতা যুদ্ধ সেটাও ছাত্রদের নেতৃত্বে হয়েছিল। যুগে যুগে যখন ছাত্ররা জ্বলে উঠেছে তখনই একটা না একটা ঘটনা ঘটেছে। একটা ইতিহাস রচিত হয়েছে ।
2018 মাঝামাঝিতে এসে আবারো ছাত্ররা জ্বলে উঠেছে । এবারও কিছু না কিছু একটা হবে ইনশাআল্লাহ। আমরা চাই নিরাপদ সড়ক। আমরা প্রধানমন্ত্রীর পদত্যাগ চাই না, আমরা নিরাপদ সড়ক চাই । সেটা হলেই আমরা খুশি।
সরলমনা ছাত্ররা আগামীর ভবিষ্যৎ তারা যখন নিরাপদ সড়কের ডাক দিয়েছে তখন নিরাপদ সড়ক গঠন না করে তারা ঘরে ফিরবে না ইনশাল্লাহ। তাদের উপরে যতই অত্যাচার জুলুম নির্যাতন আসুক। তাদের ইতিহাস অত্যাচার সহ্য করার ইতিহাস। 1952 সালে পাকিস্তানি হানাদার বাহিনীর গুলিতে সেদিন নিহত হয়েছিল রফিক, শফিক, জব্বার। কিন্তু তারপরও তারা ভাষা আন্দোলনকে দমিয়ে রাখতে পারেনি।
1971 সালের যুদ্ধে সেখানেও ছাত্ররা অগ্রণী ভূমিকা পালন করে জয় ছিনিয়ে এনেছে। এবার 2018 মাঝামাঝিতে এসে আবার যখন আমরা জ্বলে উঠেছি আবারও আমরা নিরাপদ সড়ক আদায় করেই ঘরে ফিরবো ইনশাল্লাহ। তাইতো বলি নাটক বাদ দিন। নাটক বাদ দিয়ে জনগণের প্রাণের দাবি নিরাপদ সড়ক আমাদের ফিরিয়ে দিন।
