It seemed we had lots more snow when I was a child and of course we loved it, because it normally meant school would be closed.
Through my adult years, I thought we really didn't have that much. A time or two a winter there would be some, but no big amounts, maybe a rare decent snow once every few years.
Over the past few years though, we have had significant snow storms, not frequent but deep for what our norm and been for years. I always think it is beautiful, but it is not so fun as an adult if you have to drive in it and don't like too.
