Often times the human mind sees the end result of your dreams in absence of the mechanics towards achieving that destination. True to say this is the Law of Attraction and The Secret in motion. But hey, come to think of it this way, what one thing continues to be that major hurdle?
- If you want to be a seasoned email marketer, did you prepare your emails in your Autoresponder and press the Send Button today?
- If you aspire to excel on Steemit, did you Post today?
- If you aim to network with people, did you Connect with one person today?
- If your goal is to author a book, did you Write one chapter today?
And the list goes on...
Well, you might say that the hindrance is YOU, that is not what I am discussing here but it is Not Taking Action instead. That is the thing preventing your progress.
Taking action is something I had to deal with myself. And when I found myself, I saw to it that I took action every day to maintain the momentum and move forward.
For instance, when I got into internet marketing, I discovered that I had to promote every sday and if I did not want to then tough luck! I was not getting any new referrals. Sure enough, after following through with simple steps provided in guides, the results proved the impossible!
But before that happened, I took a merry-go-round of endless excuses. Until I reread the diary of Anne Frank.
Anne Frank was 14 years old and hiding for her life from the Nazis when she wrote
Everyone has inside of him a piece of good news. The good news is that you don’t know how great you can be! How much you can love! What you can accomplish! And what your potential is!
My conscience spoke to me then and asked me what my excuse is if Anne Frank was able to accomplish things during her hiding – I am free! This woke me up from my somewhat slumber. Hence, my favorite line
Do what you have to do one day at time and while you are at it never give up because the day you give up is the day you die!
But before you start to Take Action you have to know your purpose, your passion, your potential. Until you discover your potential you will be able to Take Action effectively and you will enjoy it.
