Where I Stayed In Kent
I’ve always seen these mobile home parks with semi-permanent caravan style lodgings and what look like metallic storage containers, rows and rows of them, within a holiday park. I had never, however, had the pleasure of staying in one before.
I have, in the past, stayed in tents of all types, glamping sites, converted horse sheds andcottages. This was my first time staying in a mobile hope park and I actually loved it.
Sadly the cleaner didn’t do a good job before I arrived. The owner of the property is obviously doing it for some passive income. They probably don’t even live in this country - most likely retired somewhere warm, and have someone else managing the property.
It looked like it was cleaned briefly by the previous lodger and that was it. The outside decking was filthy! The deck chairs were folded in one corner and covered in rust and cobwebs. I didn’t even bother touching them. The outdoor table was covered in dust and other unrecognisable debris. There was even some green stuff growing on the edges.

I’m not one to complain much, so I just went ahead and gave the place a once-over. I always carry antibacterial surface wipes with me, so I cleaned the table on the decking because I knew for sure I’ll be using it. I also found a broom on the property which I used to brush off all the spider webs that had completely covered the exterior of the property.
Once the cleaning was done, it was actually quite a nice place. Lots of big windows let in so much light and the bed was very comfortable. It was also much larger than I expected it to be - about the same size as a studio flat I used to stay in London years ago haha.
I noticed some of them were for sale, while some of them had long-term leases advertised. I suppose one could stay here all summer if one could. Why not? It’s safe and clean. The neighbours were also surprisingly quietly, despite many of them having young children and dogs running around.
The site was also a stones throw from the beach - less than 15 minutes walk, so it was easy to have a leisurely stroll on the beach first thing in the morning when the light was absolutely perfect. I didn’t actually do that, lol, I just imagined it. I was asleep for all the sunrises. I didn’t, however, catch all the sunsets which also had to actually occur in the imagination. A tree line unfortunately blocked the western horizon.
The best part of the accommodation was the price. It’s probably the cheapest I’ve paid for something of that level of quality. It wasn’t low season either, judging by how busy the park was, so that must just be the price. A much pleasant experience it was and I’d happily do it again some day!

Beautiful spot, I could stay there long term if I have to, it looks spacious inside and clean after you have done the cleaning. It is disappointing when property owners don't respect clients by offering happy and great service.
Yes apart from the cleaning I had to do in the beginning, it's perfect. If I had known,I would have taken my own umbrella and chair for the decking area. It's perfect for a nice evening coffee and laptop time haha.
The place is very lovely
The location, scenario, pictures and every other thing is really amazing
I love it!
Thank you. It's very nice there. And the weather was also perfect.
was the sand hot or not?
Not here.
That is really a cool spot
A man's business can run only in one case if he respects his customers and the way we see this place is really very beautiful and in such places man relaxes a lot.
True 👍☀️
