#369 - Sunrise π at Mount Yangbew and sharing our dinner meal the other night.
Happy New Year π my beloved Hiveans! I am greeting you all in advance because it's only four hours left here in the Philippines before the year ends. It's also the first time in more than a decade that we will be celebrating the year end somewhere else and not at home. We wanted to give it a try in the coldest part of the country just to try a cold new year π .
Anyways, let me first share what we did earlier. So my wife and I woke up around five thirty in the morning because we have to go to a laundry shop to do some of our worn garments. We need to be early because the place is packed all day with people who wanted to get their laundry done as well. We did self service because if drop off and pick up will be released the next day. Imagine the numbers of laundry already at the shop when we are there. We did a normal wash to our clothes and it completed after 30 minutes with fabric conditioner in it. Then we move the garments to s drier which consumed twenty four minutes to completely dry the clothes then we went back to the hotel just after eight thirty. So that was our early morning activity, right after it we went out for breakfast around nine in the morning to a place where there's plenty of wooden arts.
Moving on to our featured photos of the day is our mini hike to a mountain just outside the city of pines. We went there by hiring a cab, we were just in time when we reached the peak while the sun is rising at the same moment. There were locals who are kids that are already there before seven in the morning and they are there for some walking exercises. Here they are lined up walking straight to the sun's direction in this cold early morning.
The mountain top has a large flat like area which also looks like s meadow and there are no trees at all, just some small wild grass growing.
They also have installed a small hut there for hikers to stay and rest. There is a group of people in the hut and they came from the nearby province, they went hear for a prenup photo shot. The couple are being photographed after they were prepared by their two beauticians for hire that they brought with them. This is indeed a great place for a prenup photoshoot while the sun is rising and the blue sky is it all over.π
As mentioned above, I will also share something me photos of our dinner the other night. We were walking to look for a restaurant to have our dinner and we stumbled on a hotel where we had our dinner. We ordered a couple of pumpkin soup with garlic bread, i like the soup while it's hot.
Then this baked egg and bread with fries.
Then this pork sisig on a sizzling plate. It is made from pork fats or skin located in the face. It was spicy so I didn't eat much but my son finished it all offπ
.
Then we also ordered a couple of this Mediterranean salad which is my meal that night. I didn't want to have rice because my stomach is so full of it already so I needed more fiber instead.π
