Although I personally mostly just check my feed for curation and once OCD is back at curating I will support the authors that they choose, but until that is going I will have some free voting power to throw at random users here and there. I'm not a big fan of the tag usage and popularity here on Steem, one that's been trending constantly is #life which just seems so absurd to me. Then again maybe it's a way to prove that they aren't bots?

Personally, I really love the #fitnation tag... it's small and hardly anyone knows about it... but the people who use it work so hard. It's always inspiring.

Only thing that I don't check is trending page, because, I can clearly say, 99% are fake votes that don't deserve to be on trending. I'm not against it but it would be nice if Steemit dev team make another trending filter that will show people who got real votes from real people by excluding bid bots.

I do recommend you check out steempeak.com though, they have their own lists depending on what curation guilds like curie and ocd have voted on!

I do have to check there sometimes, for OC of course, and find that there is a little curation going on with the stuff that is OC. Not from me though :D

The steemit tag is my favorite because I’ll learn all sorts of things about steemit in general. I don’t always here about important things going on with the blockchain, so the steemit tag helps to bridge that gap. A lot of people I follow help do the same as well.

It's good to check the introduceyourself tag to encourage some new people
Bot Paradise :D There used to be so many in the comments I think newcomers may have thought this place is filled with bots.
But yeah there are a lot of curators that check that tag out, we also curated them with @ocd for some time and will probably do so in the near future as well.
When i got support from OCD, i think the favorite tags is #ocd-resteem

Life is not my fav tag xD I don't get why that one is so popular, makes no sense.
#life tag is very popular because it encompasses diverse aspects of life.
Yeah I get that, I just get a bit annoyed when everyone starts using it just cause it's the most popular one, thinking it will get them more rewards or something and placing it on unrelated posts.

Everyone is lying, they only use it cuz it's #1 trending but no one knows why it is #1 but since it's at the top people use it, thus creating the cycle of eternal trending life.
Most of the tags seem to be a shit show but I do like going through #books, #reading, or #fantasy to try to find people interested in the same kind of books I enjoy but its usually a slog to find something worthwhile.
#classical-music! It's small but because of that, the quality is decent... No people aiming for a quick upvote!

I liked #gaming tag a lot but now it's raped so I don't have a favorite tag anymore.
I'm watching my feed and trying to check out @ocdb queue list since there are a lot of great posts there! That queue list is my small steem trending page :D
I would always check on #photography and #cn-malaysia tags.
First I like to take photos, even though I'm just using my smartphone camera for all my post, it gives good result.
Second is I can connect with my fello Chinese writers from Malaysia, we try to produce good content and we supported each other on daily basis.
My favorites are anything to do with cats..... cats, catsofsteemit, dailypetphotography .... My second would be nature and photography. I try to keep it simple... :-)
#homesteading is one of the best out there but I use #health much.
#archdruid and #steemgc for quality gaming content! I also like to check out #anime from time to time but the Anime community on Steem is not that big yet.

Hey hows it going. This is a little bit off topic but I was interested in starting a Steem Fantasy Sports Group, I created a Discord for it and planned to start off with Baseball with the season around the corner then move to NFL and so on as seasons begin. Anyways I was told by pennsif you have a Fantasy Football League here on Steem. Would you be interested in doing more? I haven’t got much feedback from anyone yet. Not sure if we have a big enough sports community to pull it off.
