I am getting ready to post my announcement now. I use a program that trails your votes at 60% of my power (to protect the reward pool and avoid flags).
I will start it up between 12:00pm and 2:00pm pacific. When you vote on something, refresh the page and you will see that my account added more money after your vote. That's how it works.
If you monitor my voting power and keep it above 75% you can keep my power all afternoon and evening. (it shuts off when it gets down to 75%)

Being able to use your voting power for the night would greatly help in my main quest at the moment, to buy a professional camera from my earnings on steem. I have a love for photography, as you can see from my blog, I post a lot of photography, many people have had very nice words to say about my photography and this has made me want to pursue a career in professional photography.
See this post here explains my love for photography.
At the moment I use my camera phone for taking pictures it's ok but doesn't give me the exquisite detail I want to capture and show to all you fine people.
So having your voting power for the night would not only boost my own posts value but also in doing so maybe get me more recognised among the community and help my photography reach further afield.
In my year on the platform, I've given back quite a lot to the community (for example, see the post that I've just created giving away 75 SBD and creating fun at the same time!
With this power, I would be able to continue spread joy amongst the community and reward those are deserving, but are often overlooked.

being able to use your voting power is so awesome. I want to use my Steemit money for buy a gaming PC so I can experience real gaming. Like running games in high settings. My laptop is from 2009, I have never had the money to buy a new one. I will put my Steemit money towards other things as well.

Uh thats a shame. Hope you can bend the rules next time to be more newbie friendly. I'm pretty active on Steemit, posting regulary, doing contests, promoting the platform, introducing users etc. But I still have only 25 SP :D

I'm new here and don't really get this but I'm having a whale of a time working it all out. It makes my head steem from time to time but you just got to power through it.
My current goal is to get my steem power up as fast as I can so that my upvote is worth more to the posts that I use it on. I don't have a lot of steem power yet, not including the stuff you get when you sign up, but I'm working on it. I currently have my awards set to 100% power up. I still need to transfer my steem dollars to steem so that I can use them to power up also.
