If you walk the streets of Budapest, you will find quite a lot of places where you can eat pizza. But, the quality of the different pizza street-food places isn't always the same. But, one of the best places to eat a pizza slice on the streets of Budapest is at Trio Pizza.
You can eat the food on the street. There are some sandwiches available at Trio Pizza, but the main profile is the pizza slices. The price of one pizza slice is 300 HUF (0,9 Euro), but if you buy two slices and a drink, the total price is 800 HUF (2,5 Euro). That should be considered a really good price!
The pizza they serve at Trio Pizza is coming with a quite thick and crispy crust. In other words, you do not need an entire pizza to get full, as you get so much food with every single slice. I am a big fan of this, but if you are a big fan of Italian pizza (with a very thin crust), then you will probably not be to fond of this.
This month (October), they have a special pizza of the month which you can buy. It is coming with a sour cream sauce (instead of pizza sauce), with bacon, mushroom, and cheese, and I was surprised by the taste. I haven't eaten sour cream pizza with mushrooms yet, but it both looked good and tasted good.
Considering the prices and the quality, I can warmly recommend Trio Pizza to those who want to eat a quick meal on the streets of Budapest!
