To all the newbies out there
WELCOME ON BOARD TO STEEMIT PLATFORM😃
I noticed that some new members do not have their profile picture nor background image. I guess some may have difficulties to convert the picture from their gallery to url (uniform resource locator) or maybe finding the right time to learn more how to put on a Steemian's personal home page makeup.
Well, it's no biggy, it only requires little steps to have that personal touch and you came to the right place. I would like to share and show you how you can do it the easy way.
First Step
On your window post, ensure the following steps:
- It's on Editor mode
- Place your cursor on the "write your story..." space
- Then click the "selecting them" to insert an image
Second Step
- copy only the highlighted texts without the parentheses/brackets. This means copy from "https://...........gif" only.
Third Step
- Click the picture frame on the right corner
- Select Settings
- Paste the copied text into the profile picture url box
- Then click update post
Once you've keyed in your password to update and then taaa daaaa.....you now have your very own Steemit identity 👏 👏 👏. You may repeat the same steps for changing your background image as well.
