Here are just some statistics which I pulled from SteemSQL
I extracted the data from July '17- Jan '18 ( today ) As you can clearly see that we had a huge jump in total payouts starting November 2017. As we all know, events which happened in Nov 2017, was when the price of SBD just shot up thru the roof and it caused a huge spike in overall payouts.
If you see below pie chart .. both December '17 & January '18 took about 74.69% of the total 6 months accumulated payout of TeamMalaysia over the total of 9,237 posts
- December '17 ( 32.78% )
- January '18 ( 41.91% )

SBD 61,932.82 which is then
translated to in MYR based on the rate of this posting RM16.10
RM 997,118.40 rewarded to Malaysian Authors

Not only we had a spike in total payouts, the effect on just TeamMalaysia alone is an influx of new authors. This report is based on active authors who had posted at least 1 time in that month and its posts had more then 100 words to eliminate all spam posts.
So over the last 6 months, TeamMalaysia authors spikes up in posting on Tuesdays, Thursdays & Fridays as its highest, however all days are not too far off from each other.

STEEM-CARTOON Statistics
With the growth of other tags like Steem-Cartoon which was a spin off project from TeamMalaysia to showcase the creative talents in Malaysia. We have had significant local artists and cartoonist who joined Steemit with the help of @sireh & @perennial . These are the statistics over the past few months since its inception.
Total payouts for Steem-Cartoons = SBD 15,270.56 which in relates to
RM 245,856.00 in total rewards for Steem-Cartoon tags
We have seen a significant growth of Authors using the tags of Steem-Cartoons which shows that a large growing number of creative talents not only from Malaysia however from the global audience are starting to utilize these tags.

Wow amazing statistics. Hopefully the uptrend won’t stop and can continue on. I hope the newbies are not discouraged when their post only makes a few cents. They should be more aggressive on finding ways to make their blogs more entertaining.
