I am #lazymom. I'm the LAST person any new Steemian should ask advice from about blogging. It's been 17 days since I last posted.
I have no excuse.
I'm just living up to my nickname. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only lazy one in this community. Surely there are more of me out there.
Ok. I do have some valid excuses.
Firstly, it was pre-Chinese New Year preparations. I hadn't bought any new clothes for myself. I hadn't stuffed @davidke20's hard earned money into angpou packets. We had not bought any CNY goodies for close relatives and for visiting in Ipoh. The list of undone things were enough to put me off writing a blog. To balance it out, I binge watched Supernatural S10. I had to finish the season before going to Ipoh, leaving me no time to write at all.
After a super (but blissful) 4 lazy days in Ipoh, we came back to KL and I almost did not want to attend the #teammalaysiababes CNY potluck gathering at @Patlu's abode.
Don't tell them, ok 😉.
Besides living up to my nickname, I keep my promises. I promised to buy pizzas 🍕for the gathering. And I really, really wanted to meet the women and put faces to their handles. And so I went and brought along @annabellenoelle.
I thought we were early to the gathering at around 5pm because of Malaysian timing and all 😄. The first two ladies I met upon my arrival was @patlu, the hostess herself and @jassicania. A familiar face in @coloringiship was there writing Steemit handles down on stickers for all of us. The pizzas arrived before me and there were already a lot of food laid out on the table, mostly delicious home cooked food.
Many posts have been written about the gathering and each of the post out there is a great read with a whole lot more pictures. Due to a family dinner commitment and not because I was too lazy!.... I left the ladies (and some men) to their devices. And boy, the ladies sure had fun with the guys. Read their posts to find out.
Moving forward, I will endeavour not to be overly lazy and attend more gatherings like this. If you are a babe, you should too. If not, how else are we going to get stuffs to write about right?
There is a morale to my story : Don't be lazy like me. Because there is only ONE #lazymom in Steemit, and that's me : )

@francesaw, didn’t manage to have a longer chat with you aside from saying hi as there’s too many people to talk to in such a short time and plus everyone seems to leave early. So hopefully the next gathering we get to talk more and stay longer so we can all get to know each other more!
@noriaakip Ya ler. That's what happen usually at big gatherings and because I don't know everybody's name by heart yet I move around mingling here and there. Nice to have finally met up.
Hahaha.... CNY is busy season for all of us, I still have CNY posts which I still don't have time to work on... great seeing you on Sunday and see you and David soon.
@orangila you're super busy jumping from one event to another. Thanks for being at every event and documenting them visually through your lens.
You are most welcome... I really enjoyed meeting everyone and taking photos... so it wasn't work but fun for me:)
