RE: The only blue sky I'll be seeing for 10 days

The cases in UK are shooting up but thankfully hospitalisation and death rates have not gone up by the same magnitude, that is the most important thing. I'm so sorry to hear about your brother in law, that is really sad.

We're not doing much different during self isolation to be honest, as it's just like a normal cough. Drinking lots of water and taking some vitimin C pill, and lemon honey drink. My family are feeding me well, so that is a bonus!!

re your test, did they give you the wrong result of do they just not give you any instructions what to do if you test positive? She didn't shoo you home to self isolate immediately?

They said nothing, but we didn't need any prompting. I went back to where we were staying, packed up, and had enough strength to complete the marathon drive back to our home. Then, we went into our local urgent care first thing the next morning, where the + results were confirmed ...

From there, we followed the protocol we had researched and in which we had the most confidence. The worst of it was over in about 3 days. We were totally recovered after about 3 weeks. The cough "hung on" over that time and just slowly petered out ...

Nice to know you have family looking after you. That is always worth some "points" in your recovery! 😉 While our children have all moved off "to the four winds," we had the support of our church family.
