The last time I wrote was 3 days ago, so much has happened in that time.

But time to continue my story. I have already said that in Berdyansk I decided to go abroad. We agreed with the family that they would go to western Ukraine, where it is safe. They will wait for the situation to calm down a bit, they will come to Maruipol for things and we will unite.

It was a difficult decision, I was scared, we never parted with my family for a long time, but I understood that if they do not want to go with me now, they will not have money, because there is almost no work in Ukraine.

During this time, I can at least a little settle down and my mother will be easier.
"Mr. S." agreed to go with his cousin, her husband and their children. She sat with her family for a long time before leaving, hugging each other, crying. Mom said to Mr. S.: "If you hurt Oksana, I'll kill you."
It was a joke, but she could.
I love my mom, she's amazing. 🤣😂

In the morning, on the day of our departure, my family and I hugged again, sat down in front of the detour (this is a tradition).
We agreed where we would meet "Mr. S."'s sister. The godfather and Nikolai said they would give us a ride.
You arrived, my sister and her husband were already waiting for us. Their names were Sveta and Vova, and the children were Eric and Alice.

I hugged my godfather and we packed into "Mr. C's" sister's husband's car.
Alice is small, she is 3 years old. Very naughty, but sweet. You will understand this later. Eric is 11 years old, very serious and loves his phone.
Alice was still asleep when we got into the car. But she immediately opened her eyes and climbed into my arms, although she saw me for the first time in her life. That was cute.
“Mr. S. is her uncle, she knows him, but she didn’t climb into his arms.

We all got into the car, the column of cars with which we agreed to meet had already left. We had to catch up with them at one of the gas stations.

A very long road through Melitopol was waiting for us. At that time, it was calm there and the battles were fought from the other side.
On the way to the Crimea and the Russian customs (to go there), 20 checkpoints with Russian military were waiting for us. It was scary. I'll tell you honestly. We did not know how it would be, because we heard that sometimes they forced drivers to turn back and did not let them go further.
The trip took 4 hours with all roadblocks. Everywhere they asked us where we were from and where we were going, they checked the documents and opened the car. We left early in the morning, because we knew that there would be a huge line of cars at customs.
We arrived there by 10 am, but there were so many cars that we couldn't even see the customs, there were more than 60 cars in front of us, that's for sure.

Time passed, we managed to sleep in the car, I had a good pillow in the form of "Mr. S."

We joked, played, talked a lot, listened to music, the children crawled from one point to another.
We checked all the photos that were in our phones. Because the customs checked everything and asked a lot of questions. Friends of "Mr. S." spoke about this. who have already traveled to the Crimea.

There was a beautiful landscape outside the window. So we spent 18 hours in line. The cars were moving very slowly.
During this time, we were very cold, because the entrance was washed by two seas, there was a strong cold wind and the car shook from side to side.
We saw that some people get out of the cars and go to customs, then return with tea and some food in disposable dishes. We asked where it came from, people said that there were tents near the entrance to the customs and the Don Cossacks were giving hot food and pouring tea.
We got curious and decided to go and have a look. Let me, Mr. C and Eric go scouting. We agreed that we would bring food for the rest.
We walked for a long time and saw that they were really serving hot food.

At first we didn't understand what was going on. But then everything became clear, journalists from the Russia 24 channel arrived at the customs and filmed everything.
They approached the Ukrainians and asked what had happened, who was to blame. Of course, they wanted to hear how the Ukrainian military was shooting and that the Ukrainian government was bad.
This made me very angry. The food is rendered - an incomprehensible tasteless porridge with some kind of starchy lumps, it tasted terrible. Tea is brown-colored water. That's the whole truth. Only real gasoline.
Eric was given buns, they were delicious. They are hard to mess up.

We arrived at customs at one o'clock in the morning.
The children were already asleep, and we were glad that we were finally allowed to go to customs.
It was scary, everywhere there were military men with weapons, barbed wire, military planes were flying.
A very tense environment.

But I will continue to tell tomorrow, now it's time to make portraits to order.

From the photograph "Mr. S" clearly falls in the age group required to fight in the Ukraine under its martial law. Ukranian President Zelensky forbids men aged 18 to 60 from leaving the country. How and why did "Mr. S" not follow protocol? @curly-xu
