Drone first helped save lives

We very often say that robots and unmanned aerial vehicles are designed to make our life better and safer, but there were no "documentary" confirmations.

Near the coast of the State of New South Wales, two teenagers carried a sudden, gusty wind into the ocean. People were 700 meters from the shore and because of the huge waves that rose, they could not get out on their own. The remote drone-drone managed to help. He dumped the inflatable raft with a drowning man and helped them to swim to the shore. As the rescuer who ran the drone, Jay Sharidan,

"I was able to launch my drone, fly to the disaster site and drop a rescue device to people in as little as 70 seconds, while usually the rescuers take an average of 6 minutes to reach those who need help."

It is noteworthy that after this incident the morning of the next day it was indicated to use the rescue drone on the whole coast.

I think that may be one of the best and only legitimate uses for drones I have seen.
