Hey geeks,
With the recent keynote with Apple last week, the new iOS 11 has been released. If you haven't updated it yet, I highly recommend you do because there are some cool new features and changes. As there are a lot of changes (100+), I have narrowed it down to 7 new features that I personally love. I hope you find these useful so lets get right to it!
1. New Control Center

You can now customize the control center with the very apps you like to include. All you just need to do is go to Settings -> Control Center -> Customize Controls. You can see the list of apps you can add and to access it, just swipe up from the bottom of the screen.
2. Edit Screenshots

Editing screenshots is another useful feature Apple has added. Once you take a screenshot, a small rectangle appears in the bottom left corner. Once you tap on it, you'll be led to the screenshot you took and you will be able to edit the screenshot. Try it out! (FYI: if you don't want to edit it and get rid of the rectangle, just tap and hold the box and swipe it away. Your screenshot will still be saved to photos)
3. Screenrecording

You can now record your screen! This is a pretty cool feature Apple has released and it comes straight from your control center. Now that you know how to customize your control center, you just add it in and Ta-Da! Did you notice how I made use of both features #1 and #2 on the photo above? Super helpful ;)
4. Notes App Interface

Pretty straightforward from the picture, but you can now scan documents directly into your notes. Go to your notes and once you create one, tap on the '+' then tap on "Scan Documents". You simply then face your camera toward a document and your phone should capture it and post it on your notes. Easy as that! The other new feature I love that they added are the tables and grids. To access the tables and grids, simply tap on the icon on the top right corner and tap on lines and grids. You'll be led to page with many different layouts.
5. iPhone Storage Details

If you go to Settings -> General -> iPhone Storage, you'll query a detailed list of what data your device holds. The part I would like to point out is the Recommendations. It gives you a list of recommendations that will help clear out a lot of space for your phone. If you need to free up some storage space, I suggest you go here.
6. Timer

Apple has now added the ability to add seconds to your timer. You can now get more precise with your planks now.
7. QR Code from Camera

You can now scan QR Codes directly from your camera. Simply face your camera towards the QR Code and a notification should pop down when complete. It should be on by default, but you can go check on your camera settings to see if you have it on.
