Black Friday is here and the deals are now live! As we predicted earlier in the month, there are significant discounts available for 2018 on consumer robotics, ranging from robot vacuums to lovable robot toys and pets. Other educational STEM kits have also been heavily discounted. But that's not all, there are also some great offers on smart home devices, gaming laptops, fitness trackers, tablets and more. We've rounded up some of the best for 2018 below:
Robot Vacuums
Robot vacuums were hot products last Black Friday and the trend has continued this year. We found a massive 42% off the popular Shark R750, and 15-34% off Neato Botvacs. The Ecovacs Deebot range, which also include 2 in 1 robotic mops, have also got some great deals. We found 14-42% off depending on the model.

Smart Thermostats
It's savings with smart thermostats, and not just because of the Black Friday discounts! Independent studies have found Nest devices save on average 10-12% on heating bills due to efficiency improvements. Fortunately, Nest 3rd Gen Thermostats have also been discounted 24% this year. Lesser known smart thermostat maker Ecobee also have 14-20% off depending on the model, and Honeywell thermostats are up to 33% off.

Ring Video Doorbell
The smart video doorbells by Ring have got some tasty discounts on them this year. The original model has a whopping 44% off, whilst the Ring 2 has a nice 30% offer. We were unable to find any deals for the Pro or Elite models unfortunately, which feature better resolution.

Huawei MediaPad M5
The popular Huawei MediaPad M5 is a great substitute for an iPad that still features some top specs without breaking the bank. The tablets have been growing in popularity of recent years and we predicted they would be discounted as Huawei look to steal more market share from established players like Apple. We were right, as they have 8 - 12% off depending on the model.

Cozmo Robot by Anki
This cute little interactive robot designed to teach kids and adults to code, or just play games and hang out, has seen some of its best discounts ever this Black Friday. With a Cozmo deal of 22% off on both the original and limited edition Interstellar Blue models, stocks aren't expected to last until Cyber Monday. So don't wait around if you plan to pick one of these up this year.

Google Home WIFI System
The Google Home WIFI System is a mesh network designed to improve coverage around your home. Rather than creating a new network as a WIFI extender does, it creates one seamless network allowing devices to automatically connect to the one with the best signal. This tech does come at a premium price normally, but we were able to find 16% off the 3 pack WIFI system and 14% off the single unit.

Garmin Fitness Trackers & Smartwatches
Although Garmin are better known for their navigational devices, they have been producing some awesome smart watches and fitness trackers in the past few years, giving Fitbit a run for their money - pun intended. We found 10-22% off the premium Garmin Forerunner range, but the best discounts were by far on lightweight fitness trackers. Depending on the model and size, we found 31-57% off Garmin Vivosmart fitness trackers!

Gaming Laptops
As you'd expect, gaming laptops feature high spec hardware, meaning the devices are often extremely pricey. That being so, even a small discount could amount to several hundred dollars off. We managed to find up to 19% off Alienware gaming laptops and between 2-10% off premium MSI laptops depending on the model.

Wacom Cintiq Pro Graphics Tablets
The Wacom Cintiq are a premium range of graphics drawing tablets - probably the best money can buy. But this quality comes at a price, with even the most basic model still setting you back just shy of $1000. We weren't expecting much in the way of discounts on the Cintiq range, but managed to find 20% off on the Pro 13 model and 9% on the Pro 16.

I grabbed a surface pro 6 from Microsoft. They are bundling the black i7 version with the type cover for $350 off. It's pretty nice but the stand takes some getting used to. I dropped it already trying to prop it up unfortunately.
