I cracked the screen to my galaxy s7 edge for the second time this month. I had just paid $350 to get it fixed 2 weeks ago as the first time it was unusable, even though only minor cracks. This time it's cracked worse, yet still useable ... for now.
It's my own fault for not having tempered glass, but upon my initial research, having tempered glass for this phone with a decent case seemed like a pain. And the screen for this phone does cost a lot even at wholesale from the quick search I did.
* I'm at the point in my life that I don't give a shit if I have the newest or latest phone. I'm literally over it. I just want a phone that works and that's not gonna break .... I thought the galaxy s7 was suppose to be unbreakable lol ....*
That being said I plan on ** switching back to an iPhone because iMessage unfortunately rules all. **
So now I have to choose between the iPhone 7 because of its better camera and faster speed or go for the much cheaper iPhone 6. iPhone 8 is out of the question as as I stated I am over having the latest phone and it's not even out yet.
Also, I am convinced these phones are made to break and made ridiculously expensive on purpose. We have to maintain so many things in life, all which we become dependent upon thst we will at any cost pay to get back. The cost for me to fix this phone that just broke again is half of what a brand new phone would've been.
And yes I know I should've had insurance or an indestructible case, but somebody on my plan took that insurance off and actually my case was under destructible with plenty of room between the screen and the floor yet still broke ...
Just a vent, thought and actually open to suggestions on if it's worth the extra few hundred bucks that I really shouldn't spend for the iPhone 7 .....
As an aside, I prefer android over apple anyday but my phone is super slow bc of the 400 apps I have (most likely) and again iMessage rules the mobile world for communication , at least in my geographical location! *** And... I am tired of ppl complaining about my broken up 10 text message ranting off about bitcoin and crypto LOL***

I heard about it and also heard its delayed because of some type of screen shortage .... im more interested in the specs when they come out.... im assuming they haven't yet?
And again i am done with new phones.... too many issues. I rather get one or two of the previous models.... too much of my life revolves around my phone and when i didnt have it for 2 days, unexpectedly, i realized how codependent i am on this device that i swear is designed for a short life span or to break easily for insurance and repairs....
That being said.... is that 3 cameras?! Lol!
We need to wait and see wich one is better, Samsung or iphone, Heyy make sure that iphone taking long time working on the iphone 8
