Technologies transform our society especially in the field of telecommunication. Today we can take a call, listen to music, play a game, watch a show, take a picture, email a friend and access the internet-all in a single device that we can carry in our pocket. I'm talking about the most widely used gadget in the world, cellphone.
Teens nowadays are unaware about the bad effects brought by cellphones to their lives. Parents are unquenchable to their children's addiction to social networking sites. Young seems addicted engaging themselves in Facebook, twitter, youtube, yahoo and the likes. Further they get hook in playing online games like DOTA, Clash of Clans, Pokemon Go, Plants vs Zombie among others.
Through cellular phones, harmful gossip easily spread, immortal text messages and pictures are easily be shared and inhumane video clips and programs are accessible to watch. Oftentimes, car accidents are caused in answering a call or replying a message on cellphones. Most rape victims were balder dashed by their friends in Facebook and almost of twitter subscribers experience cybercrime because of their tweets. Allotment time for texting is bigger than sleeping hours and conversation with others which result isolation of a harmonious relationship.
It's not too late to eradicate these negative effects. It doesn't mean that you will no longer use cell phone but learn to prioritize your family and friends before using your phone. Don't allow technology especially your cell phone become a wedge that separate you from your family and friends.
Cellular phone is important in our day to day lives. We just need to be careful in using it, do not let gadgets control you, instead, be responsible enough in using it.
