How To Win

Read the entries below and decide which one is your favorite, cast your vote down in the comments below to be in with a chance to win. Let me know which entry you liked the most, and why. The winners will be the most considered comments (which are not necessarily the longest).

Vote for your favorite story in the comments before the end of the day (23:59 EST) on Wed 27th August - Winners Announced August 28th

This round, three authors who entered a story and one member of the public can win just by voting, so let's get stuck into the entries! As always, I make myself wait and read all the entries under the same conditions, so I can't wait to see what wondrous stories you have put together and leave some comments <3

With such a long window for entry, it's easy to miss the chance to upvote the other entries, a great and effortless way to avoid this is to join the Bananafish voting trial. We upvote every entry so you won't miss one, but don't worry, we don't over use the voting trial and it only comes into effect on the posts we upvote, not the comments. It only takes a few minutes to join, you can find all the instruction on how here. It's a great way to make the most of your voting power while supporting your fellow bananites!

Hello @calluna,
I'm casting my vote for @darthgexe. His painstaking recreation of a time and place, of a culture, drew me in. It reminded me of classic Japanese literature, steeped in myth and legend. He had a masterful command of detail.

@darthgexe gets my vote, too!
A well-told tale, rich with archetype, and all that @agmoore just said. :)

Thank you very much for your support friends @agmoore and @carolkean, I'm glad you liked my story.

I enjoyed very much the way the mad Andorran tells us his story, a very pleasant and fun way to write by @carlokean. My vote is for her.

My vote, after taking some time to consider, will go for... @carolkean - There were some tough choices to make this round.

Hello, everybody.

It's really hard to decide who to support, in the sense that all the stories themselves are very interesting, they moved me to brilliant moments and made me live scenarios and experiences that I didn't imagine.

We are all winners, I have always thought so, the fact of expressing and making known part of what you imagine to others is magnificent, respect and admire the work of all participants.

However I feel that I must participate in this phase, and my support is to @darthgexe: Its history took me back to another culture full of legends and mysteries, and I felt enveloped in uncertainty and each time I wanted to get closer and closer to the outcome. Very good writing and history, congratulations.
