Hey Fellow Citizens!
I hope everyone had a good weekend, I know I did. It was good to have a relaxing week and see the servers all held out strong with very minor reports of bugs! Every week things have been getting better from a code/system perspective and I am slowly finding ways to optimize little things as I go and see things happen in real-time.
The Week Ahead
I have a list of suggestions and minor UI fixes that I need to work on but have been pretty busy working on the front & back end for the upcoming NFT release that will most likely be done by the end of April 2023 at the lastest! There will be a ton of stuff to breakdown regarding NFTs and once we get closer all the information will be laid out in a separate post and on the WiKi.
NFTS
Like I said above I have been working on a custom NFT system for our game that will have its own marketplace designed for Terracore Items with filters and lots of other features. This will all take place on the $HIVE mainchain and should fit right in with the game, no transfering items back and forth to the game or anything like that, just like the rest of the game you will be able to make transactions on chain to transfer, bid, trade!
A few fun facts:
- nfts will be acquired from fighting world bosses (first one will be on OCEANA)
- a new luck stat will be introduced that give you a better chance of finding an NFT
- possible NFT rewards to monthly leaderboard winners
- types = ['avatar', 'armor', 'weapon', 'tools', 'ship'];
- items can roll multiple stats based on rarity and have unique stats rolled on every item!
