STEEMINT Brief 003 - BitConnect Warning - Very Good Chance it Will Cease to Exist Before October

in #the507 years ago (edited)

OCTOBER 2017

What's up with ominously posting the above date?

We believe there is a HIGH probability that BitConnect will cease to exist sometime between now and October of this year.

WHAT!? WHY!?

Well, the good news is, if it is still online on November 1st, then it might go on and on ..

OK .. WHAT MAKES YOU SAY!?

An incentive to those willing to make a $ 20 000 investment between now and the end of July, is the chance to enjoy a first-class BitConnect sponsored shindig in Thailand .. which would 'presumably' be attended, organized, supervised by BitConnect employees and creators. Of course the only name that we know of is the soon to be infamous Ken Fitzsimmons.

There is a very good chance that this event will not take place. However, if by some chance it does in-fact happen, if you were planning on making an investment in BitConnect, you would be wise to wait until after the event, and the rest of the BitConnect faithful are able to watch YouTube videos of BCC developers and controlling principles, giving some hard cold numbers, and perhaps a BCC whitepaper, to their largest investors.

We do not predict this will be the case.

Have a listen to this emotional, but I believe accurate analysis from @kennethbosak

Clearly if the people behind BitConnect do not start showing their faces, and soon, with each passing day .. as you point out, between now and October .. the chances of it disappearing increase by factors of 2.

Yes, it seems to be the case. I have read so many stories online .. posts of people blaming themselves because 'they knew' it was too good to be true, but they just wanted to see how far they could get .. so on and so forth. Very sad - but gold-rush fever always leads to the smart, calculating, one foot-in-front-of-the-other types winning most of what there is to gain, and the rest freezing to death in the dark.

I really enjoyed seeing your mention of scrypt.cc .. that was horrible. I think I eventually got as much out as I put in, but soooo many did not.

Indeed! Been there, everyone I know in crypto has been burned at least once. Hopefully once is enough for most.

Smart observation. Ususally pyramid schemes vanish after offering huge discounts or bonuses to maximize the deposits. Anyone remember LTCgear? Ouch. So, if this is the case with Bitconnect, better secure your profits and run. And unfollow the people promoting it. You can find better advice.

Oh yes, there were so many such schemes - scrypt.cc and the infamous Marcello Santos was the name given, supposedly operating 2 scrypt-based mining centers in Brazil. Supposedly hit by high electrical bills, then by hackers, then he just slowly let it die and Poof disappeared. The income from money invested was just too good, so people threw 100s of thousands into it. Then there was HashOcean more recently .. I would not be surprised if the same people are involved - just moving from one large-scale scam to the next.

Bitconnect is what a bit of bitcoin yes
