Pro-life proponents conflate different stages of fetal development into "baby" or "person" in order to befuddle people into accepting their moral claims.
When examined closely, their arguments are not based on biology but rather appeals to emotions while treating the embryo, fetus as an independent being from the mother.
This convenient exclusion of the independent or dependent survival of the embryo of fetus seeks only strengthens the Pro-life argument but not convey any truth of the matter - only to sway.
Often Pro-life reductios are provided based on this faulty logic (infant = fetus or embryo); when challenged pro-life advocates play ignorant, misdirect, downplay or avoid entirely the facts. Seeking to force the conclusion instead of arrive there through logic and reasoning .
