Sitting here reviewing some Buddhism texts on right view, and there is mention of the four noble truths, I won't repeat em here, you can Google em if you aren't in the know. In any event, for whatever reason, this came to mind
Everything is connected, both physical and mental
External influences will cause an effect in emotions, as with a butterfly flapping it's wings
Mindfulness practice provides tools of insight to ease the uncomfortable emotions
