That sounds like a super shitty and uncomfortable situation. You raise a good point though. We get so caught up in our own lives and not wanting to waste our time that we often lose our sense of humanity for the other person. We blame them for something they have no control over almost as if they did it on purpose and are enjoying it. I've been there for sure. But like you pointed out they probably feel like crap about the situation as well. I'm glad it all got sorted out in the end. People will get over it lol

Yeah... some day can be bad! And people are generally impatient at times. It pays to be calm. You cannot believe road rage that occurs. But see... somehow, there is a Good Samaritan... always , when you need it. It just keeps one’s faith in the humanity of people! I am glad your hard day is over, and be sure you will have a better one tomorrow! Have a lovely evening, @broncnutz!!!! You did well by not losing your cool!!! Take care😀🌺

That couldn't have been any fun. About three years ago I was on my way from NJ, where I lived at the time, and was headed to our farm In Upstate NY. I heard a little pop come from under the hood of my truck, and the motor died. Within 10 seconds the cab was filling up with smoke as I pulled onto the shoulder of the highway. The electrical system went out, and the doors as well as the windows were locked. Getting out of the vehicle was a nightmare, but the passenger window was open and I was able to exit through the window, no small feat for a 6 foot 5 inch 225 pound guy.
As I sat on the side of the road I could see smoke rising from under the hood of the truck. I was not able to open the hood, and literally watched the little fire under the hood turn into a blaze. As motorists passed, with not a single one stopping, I was given the bird by several of them as the traffic slowed down to see what the commotion was.
45 minutes later the entire truck was on fire. The worst thing was that I was carrying a truck load of slab wood up to the farm for outdoor fires. After about 15 minutes I realized that the gas tank was going to explode at any minute, and I decided to step out into the highway to stop the traffic. Well, several cars decided to go around me as I tried to stop the traffic. These people were not only of no help, you would think that I was some kind of criminal or something, as I was verbally abused as these jerks passed. Needless to say the gas tank exploded just as I finally got the traffic stopped. Flames shot in all directions, starting a fire on the side of the road, and still not one person ever thought of lending a hand. By the time the fire company got there, a stretch of grass along the side of the road had caught fire, and the fire was heading to the woods line. When the fire fighters finally arrived, the first thing they did was to put out a brush fire that had consumed about a half of an acre.
At this point my entire truck was engulfed in flames, with the slab wood fueling the fire.
Nothing but grief from everyone that had passed, or were stuck when I finally stopped the traffic.
The new truck I bought I ordered with roll down windows, no electric windows for me.

Funny how we use the word jam

Kindness counts, people! Who hasn't been in some sort of position? Although, I want to crawl down below my seat and die, I sit straight up and address all the morons impolite people that want to yell their comment to me.

Really people? May you never be in my shoes.

Sounds a like a mixture of both Jam and Jelly to me. I know I'm so jelly right now! You know I wish it were me!

Sounds like you were the only one chilled there. Happy Friday!!! The weekend cometh!!!!
