RE: I get a Little Help from My Friends

in #threetunetuesday3 years ago

Each day you wake up to possibilities. A fresh new day means it's already a perfect day. You look to what needs to be done and what you can look forward to. As you brush your teeth and look in the mirror, you tell yourself it will be a great day.

I love this outlook, I try to have a similar one myself.

Music becomes your solace.

I am so glad to hear that you find solace in music and I am so sorry to hear you say things like "You want something that touches your dead soul."

I really hope things get better for you and if you can at all, try to remove yourself from thoughts of past and future and spend some time in nature being completely present. It may help? Hopefully just opening up and talking about it hear with friends from around the world might help? Lots of love foing your way from Ireland.

Vinyl wasn't made to pick and choose which track you wanted to play. The test of a great album was if you could lay down the needle, sit back with your headphones on, and not have to get up until the side was done.

Ya, I far preferred listening to full albums aswell and growing to tolerate them, then like them, then love them. Everything in this modern age can be so rushed and disposable, we could all do with slowing down and smelling the coffee and hearing the birdsong more often.

Thanks for the tunes too, which were top class as usual!

Mind yourself.
