RE: SteemWorld ~ Some thoughts on the CSI...

in #tools6 years ago

I think there should be no distinguishing changes to the CSI based on rep/Sp or any other factors. Like you have said many times "CSI is an indicator" and should be used as such.

I didn't upvote my self often but since finding this project a few weeks ago I have changed my game plan a lot. Actually trying to find more content to support other than my own. And my upvote isn't worth much. I have not up voted my self in almost a week now. I feel this could be a movement as it really brings awareness, or could bring awareness, to how us self voting affects the platform.

Steem is a community. Whether one is part of a smaller niche micro community or not. We all have one common goal and dream and that for steem to thrive. For that we need to support quality content that is not our own. For this we need to use our upvotes. And in return we bring in more writers, investors and just a better image.

I really like what you are doing here and I hope others get a little shock from it.

My experience was practically the same.

If you have not tried steemworld's manual vote slider it is not that hard to do, you can give 4 or 5 full upvotes for your favorite people, then you can set the slider to a level of 25% 50% or what ever on other content you like thus expanding your voting reach and range. new users are happy, (like me) to get any vote any value, it does not need to be a 100% vote of $0.100 a vote of $0.030 or any other number is equally valued. 5 people 10 cents, then 10 people 5 cents and still just at or very close to 90% vote level for energy renewal.
