Having grandchildren come to our house means we get to see all the coolest toys available for their different ages. Just celebrating a birthday for my two-year-old grand niece, I spotted a funky toy that she received called DJ Bouncin' Beats. This toy had me with the colors. I guess this will help all those future dancers out there.
But this toy is much more. It claims to have programmed in it over 75 songs, sounds and phrases. We need to play with the toy longer to ensure that this claim is correct! The multi-color lights transform each baby into their own rave. This item should have your child moving, dancing and even bouncing to the beats, just like this strange looking creature does.
In addition, it is a learning tool for those kids between the ages of 9 months through 36 months. There are lessons to be learned here about colors, counting, the alphabet and opposites. But hold onto your diapers, they even have a mic button to record. I am now raising a glass to all the future DJs out there that are going to try and create their own mixes. While listing at around $45.00, I have seen this Fisher-Price item at different locations for under $30.00, or almost the price of a carton of eggs!
