The largest national park in the USA in the southern part of the state of Alaska. The name of the park comes from the Denali peak (McKinley) located on its territory. Denali is the most popular national park in Alaska. Great at 6194 m above sea level McKinley is an attraction of the highest world class. The summit seems to be larger than Mt. Everest or andean colossi, because it reaches the sky from the plain at an altitude of only 700 m above sea level. The slopes of the mountains are characterized by continental climate with low rainfall and extreme temperatures ranging from -63.3 oC in winter to + 37.7 oC in summer. Denali, thanks to the late colonization of Alaska and early protection, has survived to our times almost unchanged. He currently lives in Denali, among others about 300 grizzl, 200 teddy bears, 3 thousand caribou reindeer, 2.5 thousand elks, over 2.4 thousand Dalla sheep and about 160 wolves.
