Hostel Paradise
สวัสดี - my lovely readers ! This is Thai and means 'Hello'
Today we got up kind of early and packed up all our stuff to check out of the hotel by noon and leave to our favorite restaurant right around the corner to have breakfast. There we met up close the first lady boy while our stay in Thailand. We had seen some on the streets before, but never like that. He/She/It or whatever was really friendly though and started talking to us, wanting to know where we are from. I have to say it was a little bit weird, but not in a negative way.
Having our favorite dish fried rice with chicken for breakfast we were really satisfied after only a little dinner the night before. With all our luggage on the back we started to head in the direction of our new hostel which was about 5 km away. That's when I realized that working out in the hotel the night before probably wasn't the best idea since I was carrying 20 kg with me.
I'm not sure how long it took us to get down to the beach where our new hostel was located, but I think it should have been at least 30 minutes. We arrived all happy and sweaty at the 'Nonze Hostel' on the Beach Road in Pattaya around 2 pm just in time to check in. We booked a twin room which is a little capsule with two mattresses, storage room and the needed extras for a backpacker. We feel super comfortable here and already met all kinds of people.
From my bed I have such a stunning view and since the hostel is right across the street from the beach I can see the beach from my bed. We love it here. We actually booked it until Thursday, but as we thought about what we want to do while being in Pattaya we realized that it might a too short stay to see everything, so we might stay here until Friday and than have a change of location.
After working on the blog, cutting videos and texting with friends we headed out to have dinner. Since we are not used to this area we tried to find a new favorite place to eat at which didn't really work out the way we wanted it too ! We sat down at this place on the Pattaya Avenue and ordered. What we got were such small plates with dishes - not tasting good at all! I really thought I would be throwing up and my stomach felt so bad after that we left the place as fast as possible. I guess that won't be the last time eating food that doesn't taste well.
Back in the hostel I tried to figure out the next days while Jules had a little chat with people from the Philippines, England and France who seemed to be really nice as I met them outside on the balcony.
Though it's late already and we never get to bed early we have to get up around 8 am so we won't miss breakfast and be able to get all our plans done ! It's time to work on that Travel-Bucketlist which I'm going to upload soon !
