The HarborCity (HafenCity) RiverBus is a state-of-the-art amphibious vehicle combining the capabilities of a passenger ship with a travel coach, which is actually unique in Germany !
After boarding the HarborCity RiverBus starting its city cruise, which will be about a one hour and 10-minutes journey. After a 25-minute drive on the road through the historic "Speicherstadt" and the new built "HafenCity", the bus will reach the Entenwerder peninsula in Rothenburgsort, one of Hamburg's oldest districts. There the bus will enter the river and go on with a cruise on the river Elbe...
If you want to see more pictures, when the bus is entering the river and swimming, you need to upvote this article a lot..lol..since prices are steep. For adults the tour is priced at 28.50 EUR, while kids until 14 years needs to pay 20.50 Euro !

Ich hätte angst, dass ich absaufe :D Wahnsinn, was die Technik jetzt schon geschafft hat
nur nicht so ängstlich :) Ist bestimmt ein lustiges gefühl in dem dingens zu sitzen. Und wenn es absäuft...die Elbe ist nicht so breit :) Da kann man auch drin schwimmen, habe ich schon vor 15 Jahren gemacht ;)

Oh my GOD! This is SO cool - and funny indeed! I love Hamburg, I've been once from Copenhagen but I had no idea about the River Bus!!! :D On my list for next time then! :D
let me know when you are in Hamburg. I will do a sightseeing with you :) I have been also to Copenhagen, something like 15times, but years ago..I loved it ! Especially when you had the carnival - most be like 20 years or more back in time..

First time i saw a kind of vehicle that runs both on water and road.
i think the concept is 20 years old and started to run in america, no idea how much more of these are around the world..
