How many of these pictures do you think get uploaded to Instagram on the daily? Hundreds, thousands maybe? I think this is one of the most boring and basic ass bitch things to do, ever. Nobody cares that you drink a name brand coffee on a touristy area and take a bad picture of it. Don't waste your, and my, time on uploading this shit to Instagram. I loose a few brain cells every time I see something like this, especially with hashtags blessed, livelaughtlove and thisisthelife.
You say you looove traveling and that it is your hobby, but why do you travel if you mainly visit chain restaurants, that you can also find in your hometown? Isn't the point in traveling to see new places, taste new things and experience a culture different from yours? Okay, I admit that Starbucks has good coffee, or at least it tastes like any other Latte to me, but I don't give a shit where I buy the coffee and what does it say on the cup.
There is a reason why some areas are swarmed with tourist, and why you should go there. They are often historically important places and the view is really great, but is it fun to stand in line, pay for the view and elbow your way to the edge to take one picture? I hate places like this, and try to stay clear of the most popular areas. The funniest thing is that most often you only have to walk around one corner or little passageway off the side of the touristy area and you'll find a view just as good and you get to enjoy it in peace.
I'm so glad that I'm travelling with @escapist, because we both try to find the coolest places to visit and see, that DO NOT involve other people.
Ps. there is no Starbucks where I live so this is exotic to me ;)

I'm with you, when I travel, it's to some Old World capitol with an old town at the center with winding streets with signs in a language I can't read, and you walk into a bakery or coffee haus or gellatari (ice cream) and you point to what you want.
I remember a time at a beer garden in munich where I didn't change my money yet, and the owner served me anyway and said to come back later when i can pay.
I never hopped on a tourist bus in my life.
