Been busy taking care of our house and doing timberworks. Now I feel like there's a good picture to share with you from yesterdays icefishing trip!
Look at Hessu's (our dogs) face lol, usually he barks to the fishes but not this time)
The Cannibal fish in this picture is the Northern pike. These big ones are really important for the lakes ecosystem, so we of course put it back. We actually saved her from being killed by her own greed haha! This one was very big Northern pike, about 12kg I'd say. The smaller ones we use in pikeballs (like meatballs but instead of meat we put fish) or fish soup.
Ice fishing on a lake, on a sunny day in Finland can't get better, can it! :)

Wow.... sorry about my ignorance @happychaga... I would have liked to see how you got that big fish out of the water... it's all frozen !
So next winter, welcome to Finland and I'll show you how to do it haha! Should make a post about it, we actually took pictures of the whole process! :)
