the flight from Italy is really short one hour and 30 minutes, and you land in the middle of the Mediterranean between Barcelona and Algiers, immediately on the right of palma de mallorca which is at least 3 times bigger ...

il volo dall'italia è davvero breve un ora e 30 minuti, e si atterra nel mezzo del mediterraneo tra Barcellona e Algeri, subito alla Destra di palma di maiorca che è più grande di almeno 3 volte...
to get around we decided to rent a small car and they gave us a fiat 500 between red and orange, ibida electric petrol, it does not consume much in fact we drove around the island for 4 days with only 50 euros of petrol. The Mahon airport is located on the opposite side of the island of Menorca and to get to the citadel of Menorca the capital takes 50 minutes, a relatively short time considering that you cross the whole island, there are no tolls on the main road only some speed cameras.
per muoverci abbiamo deciso di noleggiare una macchina piccola e ci hanno dato una fiat 500 tra il rosso e l'arancio, ibida benzina elettrica, non consuma molto in effetti abbiamo girato per 4 giorni per tutta l'isola con soli 50 euro di benzina. L'areoporto di Mahon si trova dalla parte opposta dell'isola di Minorca e per arrivare a cittadella di Minorca la capitale ci vogliono 50 minuti, un tempo relativamente breve considerato che si attraversa tutta l'isola, non ci sono pedaggi sulla strada principale solo qualche autovelox.
We stayed in Cala Bianca in a small villa with a swimming pool that was perfect for our needs. The first evening having arrived very late we were not able to see much of the place except the Port where on the weekend you can find a nice movement of young people drinking, dancing and having fun
Noi alloggiavamo a Cala Bianca in una villetta di piccole dimensioni con piscina perfetta per le nostre esigenze. La prima sera essendo arrivati molto tardi non siamo riusciti a vedere molto del posto se non il Porto dove nel weekend si può trovare un bel movimento di giovani che bevono, ballano e si divertono
In the morning we headed early enough to the citadel to see it in the daytime and tour it far and wide.
Citadel of Menorca is a clean city where operators come by every morning to keep clean, I noticed a strong attachment to the territory by the locals and this is very nice, the center is small but characterized by the presence of interesting historic buildings, the floors are all sandstone rock which characterizes all the masonry even the dry one present on the island,
for lunch we stopped for a sangria and some snacks and I must say that the food is nothing special but the sangria is excellent and very cheap!
La mattina ci siamo diretti abbastanza presto a cittadella per vederla di giorno e girarla in lungo e in largo.
Cittadella di Minorca è una città pulita dove ogni mattina gli operatori passano per tenere pulito, ho notato un forte attaccamento al territorio da parte della gente del posto e questo è molto bello, il centro è piccolo ma caratterizzato dalla presenza di edifici storici interessanti, le pavimentazioni sono tutte di roccia arenaria che caretterizza tutta la muratura anche quella a secco presente sull'isola,
per pranzo ci siamo fermati per una sangria e qualche spuntino e devo dire che il cibo non è nulla di che ma la sangria è ottima e costa davvero poco!
The first day we arrived and half of the second day there was bad weather in fact the sea was rough but still spectacular, from this area where I made the video but you cannot dive because the cliff is high and you can hardly go back up .
