한국인 보다 더욱 한국인 같아서 보기가 너무 아름답습니다

Wow amazing traditional wedding thanks for sharing

Fantastic, I'm a Korean but I did my wedding in western style. All traditional custom called "Hanbok" are very nicely designed and combination of colors looks very calm. Thanks for this sharing. I would recommend to my foreign friends to do this excellent event.
Happy your life with your good in-laws.

Very nice! I will think about it before getting married in Disney like my girlfriend @PaolaMoncrieff wants hahah

great picture uploaded! hope you have happy marriage life.

These days Koreans couples just do the fast chop-chop 20min wedding instead,
but it is great to see you guys doing the tremendous traditional wedding

Thank you!

Yes, the first couple weddings I went to in Korea; I was shocked. People on there phones and stuff lol. In the USA they are very formal and long.

Great write up and super nice photos. I always like to assist to wedding when I'm traveling, it's also so different from one country to another. I hope one day I can assist to a Korean wedding :)

Hopefully you can!
Thanks for the comment.

예쁜 부부~~^-^

I always have these curiosities about chinese, japanese and korean weddings, they actually are pretty similar in many steps (save for the fortune teller about the wedding day it is very interesting to know this fact), each culture is so different and mesmerizing at the same time. It all looked so elegant and beautiful congratulations to the newly weds !

와 정말 너무 멋진 결혼식이네요^^
너무 축하드려요👏🏻
행복하세요💑

This was so nice to look at, it's so great seeing how other cultures have weddings that are so gorgeous! Loving the bright colors and outfits, and also those dancers with the fans! :D

In some places of Korea, a rooster and a hen are placed on the table at the wedding. The chickens should not run away, so wrap them in wrapping cloth.

The crow of the rooster means the beginning of a good marriage, and it also means to defeat demons. And the hen has the meaning of praying that many children will be born as if they were laying eggs.

I hope that you will have many children and a happy family!!!

Yes, if you look in the pictures, you might see them. However, most of the time they don't use live roosters, just stuffed ones.

I really enjoyed your story line, photos and your in depth explanation of the Korean cultural wedding rituals and customs, felt as if i was part of the wedding too! Thank you for sharing and God Bless your marriage!

결혼 축하드리고요 이런 퀄리티 글에는 업보팅 필수

first of all congratulations @imlikett. so cool that you decided to it the traditional way although it's not so common anymore. i also read in a post from @slowwalker about the confucian values in Korea. Do you have a post about it? If not I think it would be super interesting to read about it from someone who lives there!

you are better than Korean ! Im so proud of you:)

Congratulations on getting married! Its amazing how you were able to find someone to plan this kind of wedding when most would have already faded to obscurity.

Hi @imlikett, what a truly exceptional post. The photography is so bright and vivid and the traditional garments amazing - but the true value of this post I think is the window into a different culture and different traditions surrounding marriage. I was absolutely fascinated to read this. Congrats on your marriage and thanks for the beautiful post!
