Last year we visited the Maldives for the first time. It was such an incredible trip I thought I'd write a review of our time.
We were staying at the wonderful resort of Six Senses Laamu. To get to the Island you fly to Male, get a short internal flight to cross the Equator and then a speedboat. Overall a crazy long journey from the UK
On arrival we were given a much needed tasty cocktail:)
We were next taken to our incredible room. Six sesnes Laamu is mostly over water, with our room been no exception. We were staying in an incredible two storey villa!

The main restaurant is over water. At night they take the sun shades away so you can dine under the stars (zero light pollution).

Six senses Laamu is an increible resort. The service is the best I've ever experienced. I've given you few words as I think the pictures speak for themselves. I pretty much researched all of the top resorts in the Maldives before our trip, if you need any help just let me know!
