Last Minute Shopping ... VENEZUELAN JAMON BREAD IN PERU. Hands on the bike :)

in #travel6 years ago (edited)

Like all December 24, the "ham bread" must not be missing from any Venezuelan's table so it does not have "hallacas" (because we do not get all the traditional ingredients)
Being away from home was not going to be an excuse to make a good last-minute ham bread :D

My brother told me that if I got the ingredients that were missing in less than half an hour he would make the happy bread and like any good urban cyclist accept the challenge of "premium rush" which if you do not know is a very good cycling movie. I recomend it to you!.

Although at the moment I do not drive on a fixie bike (fixed bike) because I make much longer routes and usually with very steep slopes (although in the near future for close use I plan to build one to have more style points in the game :D )

Take the express order, began to run time ...

AND TO THE STREET WITH MY FRIEND ANTHONI !!! ...

Anthoni sending messages to his girlfriend!

And here preparing to face the reason why we move around the city of Lima by bicycle ...

The nightmare of every driver, traffic Lima has too much traffic of vehicles. There is usually traffic here, but today it is December 24th and in the afternoon multiplied by 10.

First stop, padlock to the fence WHERE IN THIS MARKET THAT I'M NOT GOING TO MENTION HAS NO BICYCLE PARKING!!! near the entrance and it is unthinkable to leave these beauties away from our look of guard dogs ... 0.0

Plenty of time to take a tour of the liquors and photograph me of course!

And here a picture running through the corridors, looking for the ingredients of the list after having lost valuable 5 minutes watching the selection of wines and other nectars of sin ... ;)

I was going full speed that's why I was wearing my helmet. xD

We left at full speed of that market, with another direction to look for yeast since in the first there was not. Time we had not counted on. And in this it should be noted that if there is a good parking for bikes (in which we do not even insure the bicycles so as not to waste time, so anthoni stayed taking care of them)

Do not take more photos because there was little time, but with the yeast and four pepsi (hopefully pay for advertising) of 3 liters that added another 27pounds to the load in the backpack, and back to the road.

Here the complete delivery in the kitchen ... it should be noted that they were a total of 28 minutes, valid as an express delivery? What do you think?

And the bikes to their respective positions, where they do not occupy department space ...

I wish you merry Christmas, greetings and blessings for all...

Sort:

other nectars of sin...

LOL!

Definitly! Almost 5km, it should be an amazing journy.

Hope you and your family had eat some great ham bread. Merry christmas for all of you!

hi @blavin , the ham bread was delicious. What if I miss missing the "hallacas" but for the 31 I am already looking for the ingredients to make them in time ...; D greetings and blessings brother
