I’m an Merchant Mariner Offshore, Able Seaman, Lifeboatman, Wiper, Steward's Department, Sonar Operator, Navigational Watch,First Responder, IT Operator, AutoCad Operator, Sales ,Quality Control, DELTA Station Agent,Cosplay. Also i want thank my good friend Janice Hung for introducing to steemit ,Im still new in blogging she encouraged me ,motivates me, guide me as a go along with this growing community ,She very supportive and down to earth person for those people don't know her she's a Filipino Chinese , an International Champion who's already won 10x Gold medals in wushu, Fitness Trainer ,a Commercial Model, an Actress,Singer ,Cosplayer,Blogger.She's also known from her Tv series Encantadia as Bathalumang Ether (Snake Goddess ).Join me on my new journey and adventure , Looking forward growing with the steemit community and Share my life story.
A liftboat is a self-propelled, self-elevating vessel with a relatively large open deck capable of carrying equipment and supplies in support of various offshore mineral exploration and production or offshore construction activities.Liftboats are commonly used to perform maintenance on oil and gas well platforms. The liftboat usually moves on location on a side of the platform where no obstructions or pipelines are observed, lowers its legs and jacks up out of the water. Because the pads of the liftboat are sitting on a muddy, unstable seafloor, most liftboats practice a safety measure called a preload, where the boat jacks-up the absolute minimum to clear hull from the tips of the significant wave heights,fills its holds with water for weight and allows the boat to settle in the mud for several hours before dumping the water and jacking up to work height.
Before i work offshore as we know we all have to start somewhere in life. I tell my story how i end up living here in the states .So i originally grew up in the philippines living in Angeles City. I went to school in Holy Angel University the school i study from kinder garden to High School and College ,but as i grew i learn to be confident and develop my skills by joining certain organization in school.
In my Family of 9 I'm the youngest, to continue my story in school i join the art club, karatedo ,Dance club and computer club. I was a shy and quite person when i was growing up.I grew up without a mom ,My mom died when i was 9 years old she never woke up from sleep she died in lung cancer. we miss her but she in a better place now. My Dad is still alive and well ,After my mom passed away I told myself to be more strong and never give up ,I participate and represent my school against other school, When i was in high school i join the dance club i learn how to be develop my self confidence as well .In college i study Computer Science Major in Programming and at the same time i was a working student and with the help of my sister and brother i manage to finish my degree.
An Event for men and women was getting organize in my town,one of my friends as me if i want to join the pageant.Thats was my first pageant and i won 2nd place , Mr.photogenic, and Mr.Sports wear it was a great experience I'm glad that i join ,I met a lot of people and some of the sponsors. The promoter notice me from my previous sponsor so she ask me to join Mr. pampanga and Man Hunt International .
After i graduated in college at Holy Angel University , I start looking for a job. My first job was at clark field CDC, doing networking Service .The rest of my work experience ,Internet Cafe ,Catering Service at Garden Dine ,then i also did retail sales at the duty free shops like Oriental Duty free, Liberty Duty Free, Pure Gold Duty Free, Royal Duty Free, Jollibee Fast Food, Chow king, A&W and the last one i work with is at Samsung Electronics in manila. Before i move here in United States. So after longs years of waiting finally that day came for me and my brothers to be reunited with our Dad and sister living in the United States.
So my first time coming here in United States , I was nervous at the same time excited, The flight is very long . When we landed at the Airport it was night time already,The people in the plane gave us a warm welcome that was so nice of them. It took time for me to adjust my self but eventually i made it.I look for a job is the first time i did but it took me a month before i got one.
This are some of my custom cakes i made:
I work on Retails Store at Walmart as sales Person, Photo Lab Technician ,Produce Associate, Cake Decorator ,Baker, Electronics Associate, Toys Associate , Cashier.
L3 Communication as my second job working as Drafter and AUTOCAD Operator for CNC ,WaterJet machine use to make parts for military Aircraft but I'm sorry didn't have much pictures. My goal at that time was to keep learning and moving forward. After few years of working 2 job's my second have to downsize and i got layoff ,its was very tough I try to survive with one job with all my responsibilities but i made it through,So i decided to try a different career.
Then i apply the Airlines and i got hired at Atlantic Southeast Airlines as a Ticketing Agent , Baggage Service ,Gate Agent.! Fews months later the Company i was working for are merging with Delta Airlines ,Northwest Airlines,.After that they close about 60 stations including ours form Airport manager,Supervisors ,Staff, Ramp Agents ,Station agents ,Gate Agents, Airplane Mechanics, Fueler we end up getting layoff and got separation pay,And I file for Employment Check at that time is not sufficient enough to support my bills it took 9 months after i got a new job.

After 9 months of waiting finally i got a call from one of the company i applied for and my prayers were answered it was a relief. BUt i never gave up hope,So i went to sea school and got my credentials complete then i sent them out to coast guard to get veified. The reason it took that long is bec its not easy to get in and the processing takes long,I was patiently waiting and keep applying for jobs i don't know how many resume i sent. Thats how i landed working offshore in Gas and Oil Field industry until now with the help from one of my friends that work offshore.It change my life style ,its not for everyone but if you want to make a difference in life go for it and that what i did ,Life here in the United States is not easy if you only knew how people live here they work for bills like ,car payment,rent,loans,financing,mortgage,student loans ,cell phones bills, utilities ,Groceries ect. But if your a hard worker, never give up and never stop learning there's a lot of opportunities here in the United States you just have to learn to adopt and learn the system ,If you want something! you have to work on it and earn it !.Its not like somebody's is gonna hand it to you and Nothing is free.Thats why if i didn't strive enough,work hard and learn i won't be in this job position I'm now. All this job experience i encounter made me strong in life, Learn ,Adopt, Never give up ,positive attitude towards life, don't take things for granted,nothing is impossible ,never stop learning ,keep moving forward ..
