In this #travel #blog I will talk about things we did while in #Nevada and #Arizona. Not only will I talk about what we did but also I will tell you about some of the best things to do and some tips for when you make your next visit.
We spent about 4 days in #LasVegas. I have always said to people that #Vegas is a 4 to 5 day city just because of the vast amount of things you end up doing in a short amount of time. It wears you out!
This time around we needed to rent a car, so we went all out with a #Camaro! If you're just going to Las Vegas you actually don't need a car. There is a very convenient way to get around called the Duce Bus! It will take you anywhere on the Las Vegas Strip and it's cheap!
Las Vegas is a beautiful city with so much to do so it all depends on what you're interests are. But when you are Vegas I recommend you see at least two shows while you're there. Although, If you go to a concert at a club, be prepared to wait several hours before you see the main performer. This can get annoying because a lot of the clubs are outside on top of roofs in the day time and it can get pretty hot. But don't worry, you can rent a cabana for as low as $10,000 - $50,000 USD. I'm serious, that's how much reserved cabanas are in clubs in Vegas.
One of my favorite shows I went to was DJ Carnage at the Marquee Day Club. There were so many people and we got to stand right in front.
Another show we went to was The Chainsmokers. We got there super early and they needed some people in the VIP area so they gave us VIP access for free.
After Vegas we drove over to the Hoover Dam which was about an hour drive. It's a nice add on to your Vegas trip. All you really have to pay for is parking unless you do a tour. You can drive across it and walk across it for free and that was good enough for me.
After the Hoover Dam we drove to the #GrandCanyon and took a tour of three of the best viewing sites of the Grand Canyon in Grand Canyon West Rim which has the glass sky walk over the canyon. I would recommend you go to Grand Canyon West because it is fairly close to Vegas and you get to walk on the glass sky walk included in the price.
If you get the golden package, you also get to eat at a restaurant of your choice. There is a restaurant at each viewing site. It isn't much more and it's almost like a free meal.
Next stop, #Phoenix, Arizona.
As you can see, this was a very very long day but it was all so worth it.
We never have been to Phoenix before and we wanted to just check it out and maybe relax. But knowing the words just relax never come out my mouth in the same sentence I knew that wasn't going to happen. I needed to explore!
Comic-Con Phoenix was the day after we arrived there so we had to go. I got to meet some of my favorite #anime characters.
I also had to check out how the #golfing was over at the Talking Stick resort. It was the most beautiful course I've golfed on.
Last but not least, we went to the Botanical Gardens. Be careful, there is quite a lot of wildlife including snakes!
