Apart from this shrine, there is a bathroom, a mosque, pond, and garden in the Lalbagh Fort. Even though the rule of the whole of Bengal was under the Mughal Emperor, Emperor Aurangzeb donated the Lalbagh fort to Shaista Khan as the memorial of Shaista Khan's daughter. The next descendants of Shayestakhan used to lease the fort to the government and get 60 rupees annually.
