My first family trip. With our baby boy! Horses, pool and beer!

in #travel4 years ago

Well, it’s not my first family trip, but the first with our baby boy! I and my wife were very excited about it and we were waiting this from February.

The initial idea was to visit this place in mid-March, but due to the pandemic restrictions, all hotels had to close for a couple of months. So finally, here we go!

As you can see, the place is a horse riding sports club, and it has of course some hotel rooms and swimming pool in order to make guests feel better. As we are not riding horses, our experience was just go and touch these beautiful animals.

In the facility there are probably about 30 horses and all of them have family trees for at least 3-4 generations. This means that these animals are very Nobel and well bread. My son was really excited, because it was his first ever time to see a horse. This is absolutely normal, given the fact he is ten and a half months old now and everything is interesting to him.

Our room was not ready after we arrived at the complex, so it was a perfect time (noontime) to have some food for lunch.

Luckily the restaurant had some very good potato chips and craft beer in their menu. It’s one of the bigger craft breweries, to be honest, and the product is not extraordinary, but the beer is very nice.

After we finished our little lunch, our room was ready and was waiting for our check in. Getting in, I found it very spacious and clean, which surprised me a bit, given the fact it was only $45 for the three of us, and the topic of the decorations was... well you can guess it! Horses!

Yeah... it was just time to go outside in the garden and try the swimming pool. It may not be very large, but there were very few people out there and the water was very clean and fresh looking.

The heat outside was getting stronger, so the water was the perfect “medicine” against overheating. One little problem was there were a little bit of mosquitoes around the bushes and trees, but they weren’t enough to spoil our great weekend. vp2zd8.jpg

Now there was just fight time for a quick nap of our little boy, which gave us the opportunity to take rest from him. He is very adorable, but we have to be always next to him, because he is just not big enough to walk alone here and there. So protection of the kids is the top priority!

With the evening came the dinner. Sadly I was very tired and forgot to take some photos. Well, it was not very cheap, nor expensive, but the food was perfectly prepared. Overall, we were pleased by the restaurant.

As for the hotel, we were really impressed by the staff and the service itself. The cheap room rate was balanced with the pricier restaurant and this made us want to visit this place again, maybe for more than one night.

As for now, I really look forward to my next family trip. Maybe the seaside? We’ll see.
