Salzburg Cathedral is located in the heart of the Old Town, is an Italian-style church. The cathedral's original construction dates back to 774 AD. The cathedral dome was designed and built in 1660. Salzburg's cathedral, with its majestic façade and huge dome, epitomizes the majestic features of the early Baroque side of the Alps.

萨尔茨堡老城区，联合国文化遗产最大的点。世界上唯一一个包含了中古世纪和巴洛克风格两种建筑群的城区。萨尔茨堡大部分的景点都集中在这个区域内，于1996年被列为联合国世界遗产。

Salzburg's Old Town, the largest point of the United Nations cultural heritage. The only city in the world that contains both medieval and Baroque buildings. Most of Salzburg's sights are concentrated in the region and in 1996 it was listed as a UN World Heritage site.
