Paris is the capital and the most populous city in France having population 2,206,448 in (2015). The city is a major rail, highway and air-transport hub served by two international airports Paris-Charles de Gaulle (the second busiest airport in the Europe After London) and Paris-Orly.
Paris is specially known for its museums and architectural landmarks. The Louvre museums (Paris) were the most visited art museum in the world in 2016, with 7.4 million visitors.
The association football club and Paris Saint-Germain and the rugby union club are based in Paris. In Paris a football system was built for 1998 world cup having the capacity of 80,000 people. Paris also host French open Grand slam tennis tournament. Paris also hosted the Olympic Games in 1900 and 1924and will hosts the 2024 Summer Olympics.
