So after that long drive from winnipeg to Calgary. It was finally time to see the Rockies. We left around 9 and headed to lake lousie first. We made a couple scenic stops.
This two were taken near Banff, i just need to go to the bathroom :(
Lake Louise
Finally we made it to lake Louise. It was so nice. Its something i have seen before in so many photos but the colours were so bright it looked like somone had turned up the saturation.
Emerald lake
After that we went over to emerald lake. Yet again it was so cool to see how vibrant the colours were.
Near emerald lake we also saw the natural brigde. Essentially a small stream formed in a rock face and as the stream developed the soft stone which was beneath the strong limestone erroded first making a bridge over the waterfall.
Revelstoke
Revelstoke is a small town in BC along the canadian railroad. It is largely a ski town nowadays.
After a long day of sight seeing it was begining to get dark. And we lucked out so much.
Revelstoke was truly beautiful. The food was amazing there was a live band performing. And all around us there was the beautiful Canadian Rockies.
