Bali Part I

Dear Readers!

After Singapore we headed to Bali. It was a quick flight with Garuda Airlines. When we arrived we had our driver to pick us up from the airport. Traffic in Bali is whole different. There are no road rules (no roads basically, i mean comparing to Europe), lot of scooters and huge chaos. You can hire a scooter, but we chose a driver instead. It was around 30-40 USD for a day. Be careful with cab companies, hire only from Blue Bird.

On our way to the hotel we changed money too. Be careful with money changers too.

Our hotel was located in Nusa Dua, on the south part of the island. It was an hours drive from the airport while there are no highways. We stayed in Conrad Bali. When we arrived, we were speechless! The hotel was above our expectations! We had a quick drink while we were waiting. We tried the balinese beer, Bintang! The best beer, i've ever drank!! Oh and the background was also quite impressive!

We booked a room with sea view and while i felt like i was in a dream an other impression came. Our view from the room. Heaven on earth... I had to pinch myself several times!

After we occupied our room, we went for a walk around.

Although the beach seems nice, don't be fooled, the water and the shore was dirty. Hotel beaches in Bali are not so nice and not good for swimming. We visited many beautiful beaches tough, i'm going to share it.

Stay tuned!
