The Kuta Malaka Waterfall in Aceh Besar has not been widely known, except locals. Access to the waterfall is still difficult, some even not yet paved. But efforts to achieve it will be paid through the beauty of Kuta Malacca.
This is my trip and college friends on October 10, 2016. The plan is fun while being gathered in the park, finally materialized to the Kuta Malacca Waterfall located in Samahani, Aceh Besar.
From Banda Aceh to samahani only travel about 20 minutes. But to go to the waterfall takes several hours. The road to get there is very steep, even we had pushed the motor to get to Puncak Gle Kuta Malaka.
On our way we passed a small stream that ran through the streets. The road to get there is still natural, there is no asphalt at all. The streets are paved only in the home area of the population only. But with certainty we move towards the waterfall located in the hills of Kuta Malaka.
When you are at the top of the hill of Kuta Malaka, your eyes will be amazed by the incredible scenery. Above this peak there is a building that made as a parking lot, some workers seemed to pass by work to make the road to this waterfall.
Even these workers want to keep the vehicles parked there by paying the seiklasnya only. So that brings the vehicle can take a quiet shower, because their vehicles there are guarding.
The journey to the waterfall is very tiring, at least need extraordinary sacrifice. Especially for people like me who are very rarely exercise, and then invited to climb a steep hill.
But the fatigue disappeared by itself when he saw the view of Banda Aceh City from the top of this high hill, and also with the waterfall that we will go.
It is said that according to some sources, this waterfall has many levels up to 17 levels. Each with varying heights.
But despite having many levels, my friends and I are only able to climb that we can afford, some even left at the previous level!
